Community Outreach Activities

Medical Camps
Community-based healthcare activities that allow students to apply their clinical knowledge while supporting people who may have limited access to healthcare services.
Community Diagnosis

Health Education & Awareness

Students Serving Communities
Community outreach gives Medicare students an opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom and into real community settings. Through these experiences, students develop practical skills, strengthen their understanding of community health needs and learn the importance of compassionate, responsible healthcare practice.
These experiences also help students appreciate the social and environmental factors that influence health and the importance of working with communities to improve health outcomes.
Giving Back to Communities

Our commitment to communities extends beyond healthcare outreach. Medicare Health Professionals College also supports community initiatives that contribute to sustainable livelihoods, self-reliance and local development.
One example is our collaboration with the Rukiga Enjoki Association for Bee Keepers, a community-owned enterprise promoting sustainable beekeeping in Rukiga District, South Western Uganda.
